Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: (examples)
 
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, development and testing of systems required for producing widgets. 

• Work directly with customers creating custom designs for widgets
• Create working prototype widgets
• Document and implement product testing at customer site   
• Manage the project to incorporate the new test stations to be compatible with existing customer equipment 

 Education and Experience: (examples)

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 4 years experience as a Mechanical Engineer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire traveling to remote locations 
  

Physical Requirements: (examples)

• Approximately 80% of the time is spent sitting at a computer.  The remaining 20% of the time is spent either standing or walking.  
• Some bending and stretching may be required to reach a phone or to get a file.
• Lifting of 10 pounds or less may be required.

• The office is a air conditioned cubicle environment with fluorescent lighting.

• 50% Travel will be required

• $120 - $130K  per year based upon experience
